Bring the learning to life with our falconry sessions

Once a month we will be hosting 15 young people on a journey to discover more about our birds of prey, each month we will focus on a different topic such as conservation, habitat, hunting, British birds and more.
We will be flying birds of prey to their gloved hand all whilst learning and enjoying the sensory surrounding of fields and trees, taking in the rural land around them. This is a unique, memorable session that could start a career or love of falconry.
Split into two groups, we will have a craft/skill hour and then an hour of flying, swapping with the other group. The craft/skill will be age appropriate, including pellet dissecting, learning falconer knots and discovering feathers.
