What time should we arrive?
You will need to arrive 15 min prior to the start of you experience to check in with our falconers. Please note, if you arrive past the start of your experience, we are not able to guarantee your place on the experience and no refund will be offered.

We recommend good, sturdy footwear, such as trainers, walking boots or wellies. Heels, slippers, and open toe sandals are not recommended.

Belmont does host a self-service tearoom onsite, some days a full tearoom service is operated, we advise you check with Belmont House and Gardens for those dates, please visit https://belmont-house.org/ for more information.
If you are seeking lunches, we recommend The Carpenter’s Arms as the closest pub facilities to Belmont.
Can we bring dogs?
Dogs can stress our birds. Therefore, we do request no dogs attend our experiences, however, the gardens are open to dogs and you are most welcome to bring along a human friend to walk your dog around the gardens whilst you are with us on the experience. Thank you for understanding.
What happens in the event of poor weather?
Our birds are understandably not keen on flying in the rain and reluctant to leave home in a thunderstorm. Therefore, if rain is forecasted, we will endeavour to contact you by 8.30 am on the morning of your experience to move your experience to another date or if it’s a short shower, we may delay the experience until the cloud has passed. Postponing your experience is something we try to avoid however being an outdoor activity weather can affect events. Please note: we do not offer a refund in the event of postponing an experience, we will always offer a voucher to return at another time or re-book immediately.
Can we buy gift vouchers?
Yes, our website has options to purchase gift vouchers, either via post or E-vouchers, whichever suits you best. We do advise for postal vouchers to allow for clear seven days before they are required, especially during peak season such as Christmas, to receive these vouchers.
Please note; we plan to allow the birds to moult from October 2025 until February 2026, no experiences will be held during this time. Experiences in 2025, will start from 3rd Jan 2025 and end 3rd November 2025. If you do not redeem your voucher in that time, we cannot guarantee and extension, it will be none and void.
