About Us
Kent Falconry Centre was developed recently from its sister business, Joe’s Bows. Joe and Gemma created Joe’s Bows in 2010 after long careers in the outdoor industry led to the desire to create high end experiences with that personal touch!
Starting initially as a mobile archery business, Joe travelled all across the Southeast visiting schools and events with all the archery equipment in the back of our very worn-down Zafira!
How times have changed, late 2014 we introduced Joe’s passion to the list of activities, falconry, in the same year we created our experience day centre in Faversham, offering experiences with target activities as well as falconry.
Over the past eight years, our little business has been growing, it was time to make the move and separate the activities to develop our brand further.
Kent Falconry Centre has now moved to the stunning gardens of Belmont House & Gardens.
Targets remain known as Joe’s Bows, they too have moved to the fantastic Willow Equestrian Farm, both in Faversham. The story is continuing to grow!
On a personal level, Joe and Gemma have an extensive knowledge in the outdoor industry, both previously being climbing instructors and have many adventures in their younger years, from climbing mountains to travelling to South America on South Jamborees. They met working together at a climbing wall and married in 2010 a few weeks before their crazy ambition, to launch Joe’s Bows. They live in Faversham with their three children, two spaniels, two guinea pigs, four fish, two shrimp and twenty-two birds of prey – life is fun filled and never a dull moment!
